How to Apply
Follow steps 1-6 carefully. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- Employer Experience: Please, Include both your previous and current employer experience (if you are presently employed) under the relevant experience section to ensure accurate calculation of total experience. Then again fill in the details of your present employer where it is mentioned if applicable; otherwise, you may leave that section blank.
- Apply Online: Candidates must apply online via the IGIDR Careers portal: http://www.igidr.ac.in/careers.
- Submission Advice: Candidates are strongly advised to submit applications well before the closing date to avoid technical issues.
- Institute Responsibility: The Institute will not be responsible for submission failures caused by server load or other unforeseen issues.
- Documents to be Submitted: Salary slips for the last three months must be included with your application.

General Conditions
- A candidate must be a citizen of India.
- All applicants must fulfill the post requirements and conditions as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
- Applicants should ensure their eligibility before applying; eligibility inquiries will not be entertained.
- Documents will be verified against original testimonials at the time of test/interview. Shortlisted candidates must bring originals for verification (certificates, degrees, experience proof, salary slips for last three months, age proof, etc.).
- The prescribed educational qualification and experience are minimum requirements; satisfying the minima does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for test/interview. The Institute may restrict the number of candidates called.
- Qualifications will not be relaxed. Experience requirement may be relaxed only for exceptionally outstanding candidates with proven library administration/management experience, subject to suitability.
- Accommodation at IGIDR may be provided subject to availability on a chargeable basis.
- IGIDR reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancies or cancel recruitment without notice.
- The Institute may revise shortlisting criteria; candidates should list all relevant qualifications and experience with supporting documents.
- Part-time, daily-wage, or ad-hoc experience will not be counted toward the requisite experience for shortlisting.
- The Institute's decisions on eligibility, acceptance/rejection of applications, equivalence of qualifications, selection mode, and conduct of interviews are final and binding.
- The Institute may conduct test/interview or other selection processes for shortlisted candidates. Candidates must provide a valid e-mail ID in the application form.
- No interim correspondence or personal inquiries will be entertained by the Institute.
- Candidates in Government / Semi-Government / PSUs should apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
- The crucial date for age limit and eligibility will be the closing date for receipt of applications.
- The Institute reserves the right to cancel or not fill the positions without assigning any reason.
- Candidates are expected to commit fully to the Institute and should apply only if willing to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly.
- Appointment orders are provisional and subject to verification of antecedents, medical fitness, police verification, and original document checks. Any falsification will lead to cancellation and possible termination.
- The Institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw communications in case of inadvertent mistakes discovered at any stage, even after appointment.
- Addenda or corrigenda (if any) will be posted only on the Institute's website.
- Canvassing or undue influence will disqualify candidates.
- The Institute will contact only shortlisted candidates for test/interview; rejection letters will not be sent. Emails/calls asking for status updates will not be entertained.
- All correspondence (including interview call letters) will be sent to the e-mail ID provided by the candidate. Candidates must ensure the correct e-mail ID is supplied.
- Legal disputes, if any, will be restricted to the jurisdiction of Mumbai only.
- Incomplete applications without proper supporting documents will be summarily rejected.
